Heat pump in Laval: what to know

The housing stock in Laval is mainly a mix of bungalows, duplexes, row homes and new developments, with more rural areas in Lanaudière. We adapt the solution to your home rather than offering one standard package.

With hot, humid summers and the cold winters typical of the North Shore, a cold-climate heat pump is the most economical option in Laval: it heats down to -30 °C or -35 °C and cools in summer. Since electric baseboards and central furnaces share the market, with many oil conversions still to do, the LogisVert rebate can significantly cut the bill.

Our technicians work across Laval — Sainte-Rose, Fabreville, Chomedey, Vimont — and nearby in Saint-Eustache, Terrebonne, Mascouche. Postal codes covered: H7A, H7B, H7E, H7L, H7N, H7P, H7T, H7W, H7X, H7Y.

Frequently asked questions — Laval

How much does an installed heat pump cost in Laval?

In Laval, an installed single-zone wall-mounted heat pump starts around $4,500 before rebates. A properly sized central system for an 1,800 sq. ft. home runs between $9,000 and $14,000. LogisVert can cut up to $6,700 off the bill.

Which model works best for winter in Laval?

For Laval, we recommend the Direct Air HX-Pro wall-mounted series (down to −35 °C) and the Nirvana HHR2 (down to −30 °C). Homes with existing ductwork can also go with a Stelpro or Direct Air central system. We always size the unit based on insulation, orientation and heated area.

Are you RBQ and Hydro-Québec certified?

Yes — RBQ 5826-2817-01, CMMTQ 13094, CMEQ 17356. We are an approved LogisVert retailer and file the rebate applications on your behalf.
