National Heat Pump Rebate Program
Announced October 8, 2026: $2,000 to $10,000 based on household income, stackable with LogisVert. Launch expected in early 2027.

What we know so far
- Open to households replacing any heating system: oil, natural gas, electric baseboards or an old furnace.
- No energy audit required.
- You pay for the heat pump up front, then receive the rebate after approval.
- The government is studying whether installations done as early as this fall could qualify retroactively.
- $2 billion over eight years, for up to 820,000 households across Canada.
